Setting the Standard for Regenerative Farming on the Willapa Bay

Willapa Wild specializes in regnerative farming of oysters in the nutrient-rich waters of Willapa Bay—one of the cleanest, most protected estuaries in the United States. Our oysters are hand-farmed without dredging or chemicals, allowing them to grow naturally in a thriving coastal ecosystem. The result is a premium Pacific Northwest oyster with a clean, briny flavor and sweet finish that reflects the purity of its origin.

We’re proud to share the shoreline with Oysterville Sea Farms, a historic working oyster farm and seafood destination located in the village of Oysterville. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it offers visitors a taste of local heritage with fresh oysters, coastal provisions, and unbeatable bay views.

In addition to oysters, Willapa Wild crafts small-batch artisan coastal foods—from wild-caught shellfish to smoked delicacies—each rooted in ocean-friendly practices. Every purchase supports sustainable aquaculture, local food traditions, and the preservation of Willapa Bay’s natural bounty.

Testimonials

Stopped by for a short visit, ended up grabbing a bite. It's been about 4 years since we've been there and they've gotten a face lift! The inside is bright and comfortable. Lots of gifts and goodies to choose from. We got the Salmon dip (very salmon-y and very little mayo/sour cream), oysters on the half shell (buttery delicious), and steamed crab (need I say more? But if I must, the garlic butter is decadent). They've got a nice beer/wine/non-alcoholic selection. AND a pair of eagles that swing by for regular visits.

The owner was kind and generous with his time. He shared the story of the farm, the oyster beds, and his journey which was really informative and inspiring for our group! Oysters were excellent, and hopefully we'll be back next year on our annual trip. Looking forward to eating the to-go clam chowder and grilled oysters in 1 hour.
